Yay! This week I managed to post BEFORE the deadline. It’s up for viewing with the other folks who took the time to post here. Knock on wood the trend continues.
This week is a bit bittersweet. I truly had no clue what to do for this weeks topic. Then on Tuesday I received some bad news that a friend and colleague had passed away. She had been battling breast cancer for the last two years and had gone into a hospice just before Christmas. I new it was coming, but I was still horribly sad that it had finally come to pass. I woke up the next day with the idea to draw this inspired by her favourite colour. I have no critiques on my work this week. Instead it’s about accomplishment and reflection on a woman no longer with us. Be well this week everyone. Don’t take anyone in your life for granted. All too quick things can change.
